1. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility
By browsing this website, viewing our 3D spatial representations, or engaging our concierge for retreat bookings, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You represent that you are at least 18 years of age and possess full legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.
2. Nature of Advisory & Expedition Services
Carnivalrankrippl operates as a bespoke cultural documentation repository and luxury travel concierge advisory. While we provide detailed topography maps, tide evaluations, trail difficulty metrics, and lodging recommendations, outdoor coastal exploration involves inherent environmental risks.
- Tidal & Swell Variability: Information regarding ocean accessibility, wave heights, and cave entry is provided for educational orientation. Sea conditions in the Atlantic can alter rapidly. Clients must verify official notices from the Portuguese National Maritime Authority (Autoridade Marítima Nacional).
- Physical Fitness Requirements: Coastal cliff walks, levada hikes in Madeira, and karst descents require adequate physical conditioning and proper footwear. Users are solely responsible for evaluating their medical capability before undertaking suggested routes.
3. Intellectual Property & Azulejo Digital Assets
All content displayed on this website, including but not limited to 3D WebGL shader code, digital interpretations of Portuguese azulejo patterns, cartographic renders, photographs, written expedition guides, and brand trademarks ("Carnivalrankrippl"), are the exclusive intellectual property of Carnivalrankrippl Expeditions Lda. or licensed content providers.
You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license for personal, non-commercial viewing. You may not scrape, reproduce, republish, redistribute, or reverse-engineer any component of our spatial code or media library without prior express written consent.
4. Concierge Bookings, Payments & Cancellations
Any bespoke itinerary or chartered retreat arranged through our Ocean Concierge is subject to a formal Custom Expedition Service Agreement. Unless specified otherwise in your personalized contract:
- A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to secure private yacht charters and exclusive cliffside estate permits.
- Balance payments are due 45 days prior to the commencement date of the scheduled expedition.
- Cancellations made due to Force Majeure (including hazardous maritime weather warnings issued by the Portuguese Coast Guard) will be rescheduled without penalty or credited toward future seasons.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Portuguese and European Union law, Carnivalrankrippl Expeditions Lda., its directors, employees, and subcontracted marine partners shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from your use of this platform, unauthorized access to user data, or personal injury sustained during unguided coastal exploration.
6. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the substantive laws of the Republic of Portugal, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Judicial District of Lisbon (Comarca de Lisboa), Portugal.
